Level 1 sweep and inspection to the NFPA 211 annual standard - flue, crown, cap, and flashing checked and photographed
Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.
The Level Two Chimney Lansdale Guarantee
We stand behind every chimney we touch in Lansdale with something you can hold in your hand: a written price before we start, a written scope of what we’ll do, a written warranty when we’re done, and a photo record that proves we did it. That’s not marketing language. That’s Haven Standard Clause 1 and Clause 4, and we’ve operated this way since 2009. Over 38,000 chimneys inspected and cleaned, every one with the same documentation. If we miss something, if something fails because of how we installed or repaired it, we make it right. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a slogan stamped on a truck. It’s a real process: call us, we come back, we fix it. No renegotiation, no “let us check the photos,” no runaround. Corrine Halstead runs this shop, and the guarantee runs through her.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair, sweep, and installation. If a liner we installed shifts, a crown we poured cracks from our application, or a cap we fitted leaks at our seam, we return and correct it under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
- Parts and materials sourced through Haven’s buying network. We use DuraFlex liners, HeatShield refractory mortar, Gelco and Famco caps, Olympia Chimney components, and Copperfield supplies. If a manufacturer defect surfaces, we handle the exchange. You don’t chase warranties with a supplier you’ve never heard of.
- Complete jobsite cleanup. We lay protective sheeting, we HEPA-vacuum soot and masonry debris, and we remove our waste. If we tracked creosote through your Lansdale living room, that’s on us to fix.
- On-time arrival with verified crew assignment. Haven Standard Clause 3 requires a named technician, a background-checked and uniformed technician, with license information available and a text when we’re en route. If we miss our window without calling ahead, we acknowledge it and we make it right.
- Honest pricing with zero bait-and-switch. The written price we deliver before work starts is the price you pay. No “we found additional damage” upsells after we’re in your home. If our camera inspection reveals something beyond the original scope, we stop, we show you the footage, and we write a new price before any further work proceeds.
Our Satisfaction Promise

Here’s what happens if you’re not satisfied with our work in Lansdale.
Call (267) 327-4785. A live person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No voicemail maze. Explain what went wrong. We’ll pull your documented photo record from our archive, review what our technician captured, and schedule a return visit. Corrine Halstead personally reviews disputed workmanship calls.
If we failed, we fix it. If a repair we made needs redoing, we redo it. If cleanup was incomplete, we return to complete it. If the scope didn’t match what you were promised in writing, we reconcile it. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means we have a full year to stand behind our labor, but in practice, most issues surface within the first few fires and we address them immediately.
We don’t hide behind “industry standard” or “normal wear.” We show you the before-and-after photos we took. We explain what we found in your flue liner, your smoke chamber, your crown, your cricket. Then we explain what we did and why. If that explanation doesn’t hold up, we make it right. That’s the Haven Standard, and it’s how we’ve operated since before “customer experience” became a conference topic.
Before
AfterLicensed & Insured Backing
The real guarantee behind our paperwork is that we’re licensed and insured, and we can prove it. Our license number appears on every page of this site and on every technician’s documentation. We’re bonded. That means if something goes seriously wrong, a Lansdale homeowner has recourse beyond a Google review.
Chimney work involves real hazards: Class III glazed creosote that can ignite at 451 degrees, carbon monoxide leaking through a compromised flue liner, masonry collapse from spalling brick. The state licensing process exists because untrained operators have burned houses down or poisoned families. Insurance exists because even trained professionals can have bad days. We carry both, we display both, and we don’t treat them as checkboxes.
Our background-checked, uniformed technicians arrive with their credentials visible. You know who’s in your home. You know what company stands behind them. And you know that Corrine Halstead, as owner, has put her name and her business on the line for every job we book in Lansdale, Hatfield, Montgomeryville, and across the 20 communities we serve.
What’s Not Covered (And Why We’re Upfront About It)

We don’t warranty manufacturer defects we didn’t cause. If a DuraFlex liner fails due to a batch flaw, we’ll facilitate the replacement and handle the labor under our promise, but the material itself carries its own coverage. We don’t warranty damage from chimney fires that occur after our visit, from homeowner modifications, or from natural disasters. We document condition at the time of service so there’s no argument about what existed before we arrived.
We also don’t warranty work we advised against. If we recommend a liner replacement and you decline it, we note that in your written scope and photo record. Future problems from that decision aren’t on us. We say what we found, we say what it means, and we let you choose. That’s Clause 1 of the Haven Standard: have it in writing, including the no-go decisions.
Free Second Opinion: Our Guarantee Extends to Competitor Quotes
Bring us any written estimate from another chimney company in the Lansdale area. We’ll review it against what our camera inspection shows in your actual chimney. If their scope is accurate, we’ll tell you. If it’s inflated, we’ll show you the photos that prove it. If they missed something, we’ll document that too. There’s no charge for this review. We started offering it because too many homeowners were sold $4,000 liner jobs on chimneys that needed a $280 sweep and a cap adjustment. The Haven Standard was partly built from what we kept finding in other companies’ paperwork.
Your Documentation Package

Every homeowner receives:
- Written price and scope, signed before work begins
- NFPA 211 Level 2 camera inspection footage, archived
- Documented photo record of condition and completed work
- Written warranty and 365-Day Done Right Promise terms
- Technician name and license information
This isn’t optional. Haven Standard Clause 4 requires the photo record on every job, running continuously since 2009. You don’t pay extra for documentation. You get it because it’s the only way we can all agree on what was true about your chimney on the day we visited.
Frequently Asked Questions
It lasts one full year from the date of service. If our workmanship fails within that window, we return and correct it at no charge. Call (267) 327-4785 to start the process.
We still want to know. Some issues, like manufacturer defects or clear documentation errors, we’ll address even beyond the promise period. For normal wear and aging of chimney components, we’ll give you an honest assessment and a new written price if work is needed. No automatic “you need a rebuild” pressure.
We don’t promise same-day dispatch. Chimney work in Lansdale is seasonal, and we book sweeps and inspections in advance, especially before burning season. What we do guarantee is that when your appointment arrives, we’ll be there in the window we gave you, with the technician we named, and the price we wrote down.
We stop. We show you the camera footage. We explain what we’re seeing in your flue liner, smoke chamber, or crown. Then we write a new scope and price before any additional work proceeds. Haven Standard Clause 1 forbids surprise charges after work has started.
Documentation transfers. The photo record, inspection report, and written scope belong to the property address and can be shown to buyers or inspectors. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to the original homeowner who contracted the work. New owners can establish their own relationship with us and their own coverage going forward.
Our license number is displayed on every page of this site and on every technician’s paperwork. We’re happy to provide certificate of insurance documentation on request. In Pennsylvania, you can also verify active licensure through state contractor databases. We don’t ask you to trust us on credentials. We ask you to verify.
